Since beginning publication of the East Texas Journal in 1992, we’ve filed and indexed our photography – sometimes better than other times. The first ten years are mostly black and white negatives. In recent years, the images are digital, which makes launching a gallery in cyberspace possible.
Welcome to our photo website, a work over which our IT department continues struggling.
The East Texas Journal is now currently involved on a Pittsburg Photography Project (PPP),
a project that involves photography of businesses & events housed in Pittsburg.
This is a test.
You can help.
If it doesn’t seem to work right, please call and direct any frustration you feel at Marissa. She can handle it. That number’s 903-577-8245.
Under threat of lashing with a wet noodle, Marissa organized this thing. I like the “gallery.” In the gallery I like the “environmental portraits.” That’s a portrait of somebody intentionally posed to catch something about a setting representing something associated with the subject.
Go to “ordering” to see the index of recent photo outings.
If there’s something you know we shot that you’re interested in that isn’t posted, again, give Marissa a call, ask her to check the index and get back to you. You’ve got the number.
